There are some things that we don't do because of Madison's illness and her three sisters never complain. We are so proud of the girls. We are interested in participating in Curtain Call Productions acting enrichment classes. All four girls absolutely love it there, but it gets hard to do the extra activities when you have a child with an illness.

Madison Balde is a 12 year old who has End Stage Kidney Disease and is followed by the Division of Pediatric Nephrology here at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
Madison receives nightly dialysis in her home. In addition to dialysis she takes multiple medications daily. Madison is a very optimistic young lady and does not let her kidney disease stop her from participating in most activities of children her age.
