The Stuckert family read about PBF in a newspaper article written by Mary Lisa Boose and printed in the Norwalk Reflector. Faith is a vibrant and friendly 3 year old girl with Neurofibromatosis Type I. In January, Faith had a tumor removed from her throat. To help Faith and her family take their mind off the upcoming surgery, The Piggyback Foundation worked with Kalahari Resort and Waterpark to give the Stuckert Family a weekend retreat.
The Piggyback Foundation was also able to help with clothing, babysitting expenses, gas cards, salon services at Christian Roberts and Christmas gifts for the whole family. Faith has recovered from her surgery and will always I have fond memories of her visit to Kalahari.
