The Piggyback Foundation

In the Fall of 2006, when Zach was only five years old, he was diagnosed with Stage I LP Hodgkin Lymphoma. He immediately began treatment at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. Doctors Xiaxin Li and Sarah Alexander gave him a favorable prognosis.

After meeting Zachary's Grandmother at a Piggyback Foundation Garage Sale in the Spring of 2008, where she learned about PBF, she referred her grandson to us. The Piggyback Foundation was able to provide gas cards, grocery cards and lessons at NAMA for Zach and his family. Volunteers donated furniture for their new home and we helped Zach celebrate his 8th birthday!

Zach's Mom Carrie wrote…

Thank you so much for the resources I have found in your foundation. Your generosity means alot and I can't thank you enough for reaching out to my family and I.

Sincerely,
Carrie Ross
