Beverly Morgan knew at some point she and her husband, Jonathan, may need some extra help for their two sons, due to her husband’s illness. So when she read the article about The Piggyback Foundation in the Norwalk Reflector, she cut it out and saved it. This past spring, they needed a little help with sports gear for their boys who wanted to participate in track.
Everyday is a challenge for this family. The Piggyback Foundation was happy to be able to bring Christopher and Anthony some really cool track clothes from Dick's Sporting Goods Store and gift certificates from Dunham's! Beverly was able to enjoy a well needed rest and relaxation at Christian Robert's Salon and Spa!
A note from Beverly...
While we have good health insurance, I have to pay the majority of the monthly premium, so that also makes it difficult at times. We worry a lot about our two boys and are trying to keep "things" as normal as possible. It is very important to us that they are able to do sports and have fun while we journey through this.
The Piggyback Foundation supports families like the Morgan's through the Kids Count Program by providing the finances needed for children to maintain their activities during times of financial hardship incurred by a tragic illness.
