The Brotzki Family Matthew Brotzki is a 27 year old gentleman who presented to the hospital with a one week history of fevers, malaise, pain who, after admission to the hospital underwent chest x-ray and computerized tomography scan of his chest which demonstrated a 7 cm. posterior mediastinal mass.

The Emmons Family Chip Battles from Battles Insurance referred Crystal Emmons to The Piggyback Foundation at a time when she needed a little help for her son Devyn. Devyn Ray Emmons was diagnosed with Arthrogryposis which affects Devyn’s joints, causes muscle weakness and a multitude of other problems. Crystal is unable to work, because Devyn needs constant care.

So when she read the article about The Piggyback Foundation in the Norwalk Reflector, she cut it out and saved it. This past spring, they needed a little help with sports gear for their boys who wanted to participate in track.

The Popke Family Megan Popke is a very enthusiastic and bright seventh grader who loves sports. She is active in basketball and excels at softball. The Popke family received a grant from The Piggyback Foundation to help cover the costs of these sports including funding for Megan's uniform and shoes. We’ve also allowed Megan to enjoy Curtain Call Production Drama Enrichment Classes.

The Stiles Family Debbie Stiles was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2007. The Piggyback Foundation helped her eight year old daughter, Abigail, attend the basketball program at Ernsthausen Community Center and a drama Class at Curtain Call Productions.

The Vick Family Roberta Younce was referred to The Piggyback Foundation by Ernsthausen Recreational Center. Roberta was just recovering and returning home from a battle with acute liver failure. Her children were looking forward to being back in their own home and getting involved with soccer and the recreational center.
