The Piggyback Foundation

The Norwalk community got behind the Daniel Brooks family when it was apparent that he needed a Kidney Transplant. His sister-in-law, Carrie Light, was the generous donor of her own kidney. Two weeks after his transplant a benefit was held at the Eagles Lodge for the family, after his wife was laid off from Norwalk Furniture.

The Piggyback Foundation helped by providing gas cards and grocery cards during this difficult time.

The Brooks family wrote…

To The Piggyback Foundation,
Our family wanted to tell you how thankful we are to be a part of this foundation. We truly don’t know what we would have done without the grocery cards, gas cards and gifts you have given us when we needed it the most. God has blessed us through this. I know he will always be there for us and with you and your organization. All of you are truly remarkable, unbelievably caring people and we will never, ever forget! We would love to give back by helping this foundation anyway we can.

You are all Angels to us!!

Love,
The Brooks Family
